Beginning Spinning

Learn to make your very own yarn! Working on a drop spindle, you will learn how to take fluffy fiber to finished yarn. We will cover all the basics and with two sessions, you’ll have plenty of practice time to perfect your techniques. The class will include how to ply yarns your first handspun and different ways to finish the yarn. Discussions will include different fiber types and their properties, and different styles of yarn.
Note: Fiber and Spindle are not included in the class fee. You can purchase them for a 10% discount or bring your own.
When scheduled as a one person private lesson, it is two 1-hour classes. If scheduled as a semi-private lesson with two or more people, each session will be 90 minutes. Contact the shop to schedule your time after booking the class. Class must be completed within 2 months of purchase.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule your registration, please provide at least 48 hours advance notice before the start of your first class for store credit. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice notice are non-refundable.
Missed Classes
We cannot offer make-up sessions or credit for missed group classes. Out of respect for your instructor and classmates, we kindly ask that you be on time.
