Made with strong Swedish Pine and built to last generations, the Standard is a wonderful investment for any weaver. The Standard is available in 4 widths and provides endless weaving possibilities, from hand towels and scarves to rag rugs and luxurious upholstery material. It is strong enough to handle any task, and the open side frame design allows easy access for threading and tying up.
The Standard Countermarche is available in the following shaft + treadle combinations that can be upgraded:
4 Shafts x 6 Treadles
8 Shafts x 10 Treadles
10 Shafts x 10 Treadles
Additionally, the Standard Countermarche is available in 12 x 14 and 16 x 16 shaft/treadle configuations for those wanting to do more complex weaves. These looms have narrower and thinner shafts allowing for a more comfortable weaving experience with a clean shed.
The Standard is also available as a Counterblance Loom
