The Glimåkra Julia is a little loom with big potential! Compact and quiet, this space saver is the perfect apartment loom. Its lightweight yet sturdy construction makes treadling nearly effortless while producing high quality weaves. The Julia floor loom has a 27” weaving width and can be moved through doorways while fully assembled.
The loom is available as both a counterbalance and countermarche (vertical or horizontal) and comes in either 4 shafts with 6 treadles or 8 shafts with 10 treadles. You can also expand from 4 to 8 shafts at any time with the expansion kit.
The loom comes with one reed of your choice (5, 6, 8, 10 or 12 dents to the inch) Additional reeds can be ordered.
There is also a Draw Loom Add On that can be purchased at the same time as the loom or added on at a later date.
