The High Speed Bobbin is made of hard maple or cherry with a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish. It has a 4-ounce capacity. The High Speed Bobbin can be identifed by “HI SPD” written on the small end of the bobbin, but otherwise looks just like the regular Spinning Wheel Bobbin. The High Speed Bobbin is required when using the high speed or super high speed whorls in double drive.
The plastic Travel Bobbin was designed to be lightweight, durable, and affordable. It has a 4-ounce capacity.
The Bulky Bobbin has double the capacity of our regular and travel bobbins, holding about 8 ounces. It’s perfect for plying long skeins or creating art yarn. The Bulky Bobbin is made of hard maple or cherry, with a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish.
All bobbins are compatible with Flatiron, Ladybug, Matchless, and Sidekick wheels. Bulky Bobbins will only fit on bulky flyers; all other bobbins will fit on regular and bulky flyers.
