From the pattern: Sisterly Shawl was inspired by my sisters. It is a tribute to sisters everywhere whether they be related to you or not. This shawl uses 4 colors in different combinations symbolizing the different relationships sisters have with one another. The colors compliment, contrast and encourage each other in different ways just as sisters do.
Yarn Requirements: Note: Pattern uses lace weight held double for a sport weight yarn. You could use a fingering yarn held single as well.
Yarn A: (main color) 1210 yards held double; 605 yards if using a single yarn. Yarn B: 1030 yards held double; 525 yards if using a single yarn. Yarn C: 462 yards held double; 231 yards if using a single yarn. Yarn D: 355 yards held double; 178 yards if using a single yarn.
